myJuz is a free Qur'ān Khatam organiser. Your browser profile works without registration. A Google-linked account is optional and exists only to make your Khatam history and organiser access available across devices.

Your browser profile

Your name, appearance choice, reminder preferences, browser profile secret, and private organiser and participant keys are saved in this browser’s local storage. They let myJuz pre-fill your name and find Khatams you created or joined. Clearing this site’s browser data removes that local profile. Only one-way hashes of private keys and secrets are stored in the database.

When you use shared Khatams, myJuz stores the Khatam title, message, deadline, reservation names, completion status, and relevant timestamps.

Optional push notifications

If you turn on reminders, your browser supplies an encrypted Web Push subscription endpoint and keys. myJuz stores them with your chosen intervals and verified Khatam links, sends only deadline and incomplete-juz reminders, and deletes the subscription when you turn reminders off or the browser reports it has expired.

Google account information

If you sign up or log in with Google, myJuz receives your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image. Google handles your password and sign-in security. myJuz never receives or stores your Google password.

Your Google information is used only to create your optional myJuz profile, show your private account page, link Khatams you create or join, restore organiser access across devices, and protect administrator features.

Where information is stored

Application and account data is stored with Neon Postgres and Neon Auth. The website and server functions run on Vercel. Google provides the sign-in identity. These providers process data only as needed to operate myJuz. myJuz does not sell personal information, use it for advertising, or send marketing email.

Retention and deletion

Shared Khatam information remains until its creator deletes the Khatam. If you have an account, you can delete it from My Account. Account deletion removes your Google-linked myJuz profile and disconnects your account from Khatams and reservations; shared Khatam content remains available to participants unless the Khatam itself is deleted.

Data security and choices

• Google sign-in uses limited identity scopes: name, email, profile, and OpenID.
• Signed account requests use short-lived, cryptographically verified tokens.
• You may use all core Khatam features with only your browser profile.
• Notifications are opt-in and can be disabled in Settings or your browser.
• You may sign out or delete your account at any time.

This page will be updated if myJuz changes how it collects or uses data. The updated date above will change at the same time.
